Mahindra Marazzo has gone on sale in India at an introductory price of INR 9.99 Lakh.
It takes the competition to the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Tata Hexa and Toyota Innova Crysta.
Mahindra has today launched one of the most anticipated products of the year, their all-new MPV, the Marazzo in India.
The people carrier goes on sale at a very competitive price point of INR 9.99 lakh with the top of the line variant retailing for INR 13.90 lakh.
Available in a total of 4 different variants, the Mahindra Marazzo comes across as a feature-packed family vehicle with SUV like driving style at a price of a compact SUV like the Hyundai Creta.

Mahindra Marazzo MPV- Price In India
The base price for the Mahindra Marazzo MPV starts at INR 9.99 Lakhs. The top of the line M8 variant is going to retail at INR 13.90 Lakhs.
These are ex-showroom prices. Also, these prices will increase in the future as they as introductory costs at the time of the launch.

Mahindra Marazzo MPV- Engine Specifications

Contrary to our expectations, the Mahindra Marazzo, for the time being, will retail only with a diesel derivative. This oil-burner is an all-new motor developed by Mahindra.
Complaint with the current BS-IV emission regulations, this 1.5-litre engine is capable of producing 120 BHP of power along with 300 Nm of peak torque. For now, Mahindra is offering only a six-speed manual gearbox with this engine.

However, the automaker has confirmed that they are going to launch a BS-VI complaint petrol engine soon for this MPV next year. And that with the launch of the gasoline engine, this people carrier will also get an automatic transmission option.

Mahindra is claiming an average mileage figure of 17 km/l for this MPV. With this, expect a real-world mileage figure of around 15 km/l in city driving conditions.
On the highway, one might just be able to reach the claimed figure of 17 km/l.
Mahindra Marazzo MPV- Dimensions
The Marazzo MPV will measure 4585 mm in length, 1866 mm in width and 1774 mm in height.

It has a wheelbase of 2760 mm while the boot capacity, with all the three rows of seats upright, is 190-liters. However, it can be increased to 1055-litres with the 2nd and 3rd row folded.

Mahindra Marazzo MPV- Exterior Design
As we already know, the Marazzo has been inspired from the Sea creature Shark. Up-front, it comes with a familiar Mahindra Fascia. Sitting in the front is a large grille inspired by the menacing teeth of a Shark.
Flanking either side of this grille are two large sweptback headlamps with dual-barrel projector elements. In all, the front fascia of the Marazzo looks very dominating and more like an SUV than an SUV, which is exactly what the masses in India are rooting for.

From the side, the Marazzo has a very distinctive aesthetic profile. The nice and angular design portrays a sharp silhouette which is otherwise quite bland if compared to other MVPs in the market. At the back, the Marazzo comes with Sharkfin inspired tail-lamps which are quite aesthetically dominating to look at.
Mahindra Marazzo MPV- Interior Design
Ahead of the launch of the Marazzo, Mahindra has already assured everyone that the cabin of this MPV will be one of the most luxurious that the automaker has offered by far.
And aesthetically, we have to agree with the homegrown automaker on this. Unlike other Mahindra products, the dashboard layout of the Marazzo is very neat and clean.

And hence, appears very premium. The use of buttons is kept to the minimum as the centre console is dominated by a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other than this, this MPV comes with leather seat upholstery and what looks to be, premium quality materials used on the dashboard.

The Marazzo MPV offers a host of features. Apart from a touchscreen infotainment system, the MPV comes with automatic climate control.
