We figure this is due to the arrival and strong demand for the new version of the Scorpio. The Scorpio Classic is aimed at those who loved the previous-gen Scorpio that has been a stalwart in our market for years. That is the reason why there are only minute changes to the SUV. On the other hand, people looking to experience a modern and tech-savvy version of the Scorpio could opt for the N. It comes with multiple powertrain options including a dedicated 4×4 system.
The old version of the Mahindra Scorpio used to come powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine making 136 hp and 320 Nm of peak power and torque in its most powerful iteration. The transmission duties were carried by a 6-speed MT. There was also the option of a 4WD and the prices ranged from Rs 9.40 lakh to Rs 18.63 lakh, ex-showroom. Will these massive discounts force you into buying the last-gen Scorpio?
