Mahindra Thar Climbs Electricity Pole on Being Hit by Mahindra Thar in Gurgaon.

In a recent incident, a Mahindra Thar was sent up an electricity pole by a speeding Honda Amaze that hit it on losing control. The mishap, which took place in Gurgaon, was captured by some road users and the visuals were quick to go viral on social media.

Mahindra Thar Keeps its Driver Safe in Bizarre Accident

The incident reportedly took place around 4pm when a speeding Honda Amaze hit the SUV from behind. Following this, the driver of the SUV, identified as Aanchal Gupta, lost the car’s control and went on the electric pole. Mahindra Thar kept the driver protected despite the high intensity of the accident. Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda Amaze fled the scene. The police is now investigating the case. Aanchal Gupta reports the mishap took place soon after she left a fuel station.

โ€œI left the petrol pump, and right after I took a turn, a white Honda Amaze hit my car from behind. I diverted to the left because otherwise, there would have been further damage. However, my car went up the electric pole. Later, locals helped me come down, and I jumped from above,โ€ India Today quoted her as saying. Two eyewitnesses present at the scene echoed her. “All the damage happened to the car. Fortunately, no one got injured,” one witness said.

In another mishap that took place on Monday, a 17-year-old boy lost his life after he lost control of the car he was driving and hit a divider on the flyover at the Atul Kataria Chowk in Gurgaon. As per the police, the deceased, who lived in Sector 14, was over-speeding and was headed to his coaching classes in Udyog Vihar. โ€œPrima facie, it appears that no other car was involved in the incident and that the boy lost control on his own. The crash affected traffic on the flyover for about half an hour until the car was towed away,โ€ an official said.
