In this post, I shall discuss a rather bizarre digital illustration of a Mahindra Thar Roxx van. I must admit this is a fusion I never saw coming. Off-roading SUVs and vans are worlds apart in terms of application and aesthetics. To combine these two, one must be a really creative professional. That is exactly what I experienced here. So, without any further ado, let us glance at the details of this rare case.

I was able to get hold of these conceptualizations courtesy of bimbledesigns on Instagram. At first look, one is barely able to piece the puzzle together about the donor model. It is only after a focused analysis that things become clear. At the front, there are trademark slats and round headlamps with LED DRLs borrowed from the Thar Roxx. However, the windshield above it and the removal of the bonnet make it difficult to recognize. I like the rugged bumper setup with fog lamps on either side. Also, the auxiliary LED lighting on the roof adds to the adventurous demeanour. On the side, I appreciate the hardcore components like rugged wheel arches and ginormous wheels with off-roading tyres.
Apart from that, the reminiscence of the Thar Roxx is visible at the rear third quarter and the door panels. Furthermore, the tough luggage rack on the roof looks practical and cool. Finally, the tail section borrows all the elements from the regular Mahindra Thar Roxx including the black bootlid, a large spare tyre mounted on the boot door, the LED taillamps and a sturdy bumper. In fact, one is able to see the compartments on the roof to carry sporting equipment or other things. All in all, this has to be among the most exciting and innovative fusions I have seen in recent times.
My View
This Mahindra Thar Roxx van is a representation of what the talent, skills and vision of a digital automobile artist can achieve. I must appreciate the thought process behind this unique creation. Also, it is particularly fascinating because we are able to see a Thar Roxx in a completely different light – something which is not possible in the real world. That is the beauty of the virtual realm. Since it is not bound by physical limitations, artists can create magical combinations.
