In the latest terrible crash, a Maruti Brezza hits a divider and rolls over on the highway multiple times. Brezza is the only decently-rated product in Maruti Suzuki’s line-up. The compact SUV has been a popular choice among the masses in the segment for a long time now. However, it must be noted that the model that scored 4 stars at the Global NCAP is the last-gen version. The current generation model is not been crash tested yet. It would be interesting to see how well it scores once GNCAP tests it. Until then, let us take a look at the details of this latest crash.

Maruti Brezza Hits Divider
This video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate incidents as well as road safety. This time around, a terrible incident has emerged from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near Jaipur in Rajasthan. As per the information in the video, the Brezza owner commenced his journey from Chandigarh and picked up four other people from Delhi. When they reached near Jaipur on the highway, they were travelling at around 100 km/h. Suddenly, the front tyre burst and the driver lost control.

Since the speed was high, the SUV ended up hitting the divider and toppling over several times before coming to a halt. Looking at the condition of the car, one could clearly see how horrendous the impact was. The vehicle is in a total loss condition. The front section including the bonnet, bumper, grille, fender, roof and A-pillar have been completely destroyed. Moreover, the front left tyre of the vehicle has come off completely. You wouldn’t believe that someone would make it out alive from this crash. But the occupants escaped with some injuries which is a testament to the build quality of the Brezza.

We witness tons of road crashes in our country each year where thousands of people lose their lives. Most of these crashes take place due to overspeeding and drivers not following traffic regulations.
