Maruti Suzuki has launched a special edition accessory kit for three of its entry-level models – Alto, Celerio, and WagonR.ย These accessory kits are each priced above Rs 25,000 and they bring exterior and interior enhancements.
The festive season is already upon us and along with it is the season of special edition launches from car and motorcycle manufacturers. We have already seen several special edition launches from Honda last month and now, its Maruti Suzuki. Maruti Suzuki has launched a special edition accessory kit for three of its entry-level models – Alto, Celerio, and WagonR.ย These accessory kits are each priced above Rs 25,000 and they bring exterior and interior enhancements and additional features to jazz up each of these models.
Maruti Suzuki Alto
The special edition accessory kit in the Alto brings in an 8-inchย Pioneer touchscreen infotainment system It also brings in 6-inch Kenwood speakers, remote locking with keyless entry, dual-tone seat covers, steering wheel covers, special mud flaps, and number plate garnish.ย The accessory kit for the Alto is priced at Rs 25,490 and for that money, the upgrades are substantial, particularly for the infotainment system. As standard, the Alto gets an infotainment system only on the top-spec VXi+ trim, priced at Rs 3.80 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio
The current-gen Maruti Suzuki Celerio is one of most dated products in Maruti Suzuki’s lineup and that is particularly noticeable by the fact that even the top trim of the Celerio does not come with an infotainment screen. The special edition package will however fetch you a Sony double din infotainment system with Bluetooth and that’s a big plus. Additionally, it also gets edition-specific seat covers, black body side mouldings, door visors, rear seat cushions, number plate garnish and designer mats. The accessory kit for the Celerio costs Rs 25,990.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR
The accessory kit for the WagonR is the most expensive of the lot and has been priced at Rs 29,990. Although the WagonR already comes pretty well loaded, the accessory kit addsย front and rear bumper protectors, front upper grill chrome garnish, side skirts, themed seat covers, and interior styling kit.ย It also gets additional wheel arch cladding, door visors and designer mats. The wheel arch cladding on the outside particularly bring about a noticeable difference in the look of the hatchback.

While the accessory kits on the Alto and Celerio add a few essential features that are missing as standard and thus make good value for money, the one of the WagonR isn’t all that reasonable. It only adds interior and exterior enhancements and the price for that seems a little steep. These festive edition kits will be sold separately and fitted at Maruti Suzuki dealerships.ย
