Maruti Swift Rocket GTS Concept

Digital automobile artists often rely on their vision and imagination to create immensely unique iterations of mass-market cars

In this latest iteration, a Maruti Swift Rocket GTS concept has been visualized. Swift is one of the highest-selling vehicles in India. The hatchback is currently on sale in its 4th-generation avatar. However, its demand and popularity are still at an all-time high. It is a household name in India. That is also the reason why even digital artists pick it as their black canvas to demonstrate their talent, skills and creativity. This is a perfect example of that growing trend. Let us delve into the specifics of this case.

Maruti Swift Rocket GTS Concept

This rendition comes to us courtesy of bimbledesigns on Instagram. The artist has illustrated the Swift in a new light. Firstly, the bright red colour truly suits the sporty demeanour of the hatchback. At the front, we get to witness prominent headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and a massive grille which extends to the edges of the bumper. In the lower section, we see a massive splitter with a gunmetal element which elevates the road presence of this Swift Rocket GTS concept a lot. I particularly like the side section which contains just 2 doors.

It contains ginormous alloy wheels which are neatly integrated within the slim fender section. The black alloy wheels contain red inserts including the brake calipers which add to the overall sportiness. Apart from that, the black side pillars and ORVMs look imposing as well and contrast the red colour really well. In addition, the extended portions on the front and rear fenders is something straight out of a racing car. The low ground clearance is due to the bagged stance. At the rear, the Swift carries a mammoth diffuser section with dual exhaust pipes and a sporty bumper. All in all, this has to be among the sportiest virtual renditions of the Maruti Swift I have come across in a while.

My View

The biggest advantage of a digital concept is that it is free from the physical limitations. Hence, designers are able to deploy their entire imagination to come up with unthinkable avatars of a regular mass-market car. This is a prime example of that. However, it is understood that such versions can never make it to production. That is why visualizing them in the digital space is a great practice which expands our horizons as well. Let us keep an eye out for more such cases in times to come.
