In some interesting news, Matthew Hayden’s daughter, Grace Hayden recently took a tour of the testing track and production facility of the Mahindra XUV700 in Chakan, Maharashtra in India. This is where the production of many automobile companies is set up. Mahindra has a high-speed testing circuit here called the Mahindra SUV Proving Track. This is where the high speeds of Mahindra SUVs are proven. On this occasion, Grace Hayden got behind the steering wheel of the Mahindra XUV700 to test how fast it goes. Matthew Hayden’s Daughter Tests Mahindra XUV700

This video comes from Mahindra Australia on YouTube. It looks like the entire family of Matthew Hayden loves Mahindra. Back in Australia, he already owns the pickup truck from the Indian carmaker. In addition to that, he was recently seen being invited for the deliveries of the SUVs to customers in Chennai, India. Now her daughter is also in India. In this video clip, she mentions that she has made the purchase of the XUV700 back in Australia. That is why she is excited to witness how these desirable SUVs are made.

In a bid to do that, she arrives at the production facility in Chakan, near Pune in Maharashtra. She takes a tour of the plant to see the entire process. Thereafter, she also gets the opportunity to drive the premium SUV on the track. This special track is curated in such a manner that the drivers can test the high speed of the car in a controlled environment with the utmost safety. In fact, the visuals show her driving the SUV at a whopping 176 km/h. That is not something every SUV of this size can achieve. This proves the potential of the powerful engines of the Mahindra XUV700.

The Mahindra XUV700 is equipped with a sturdy 2.0-litre turbo petrol direct injection mStallion engine that delivers an impressive 200 hp and 380 Nm of power and torque. Additionally, it offers a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine in two power configurations – 155 hp with 360 Nm and 185 hp with 420 Nm (or 450 Nm with the automatic transmission). You have the option to choose between a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission to complement these engines. Moreover, the top-tier trim levels feature an AWD version and advanced ADAS features. The pricing for the XUV700 ranges from Rs 14.03 lakh to Rs 26.57 lakh, ex-showroom.
