MG recently launched updated versions of its successful mid-size SUV, the Hector in India. The models included Hector, Hector Plus 6-Seater and all-new Hector Plus 7-Seater. Hector was due for a facelift for a long time. MG took advantage of this opportunity and launched the 7-seater version of its Hector Plus as well. It did gain a lot of attention at the launch and to ride this wave, MG has come up with another feature-packed variant of Hector Plus 7-seater, the ‘Select’ variant. Let us take a look at what are the features offered in this variant and how much does it cost!
MG Hector Plus 7-seater – ‘Select’ Variant
Now, the Hector Plus is already a feature-rich car and does boast of being one of the very first internet-connected cars in the country. So, in terms of technology features, it already scored a lot of points. Taking things to the next level now, MG has updated the features list to incorporate even more internet-based functions. This enhances the appeal of the car and makes it tempting, especially for the younger generation. The features already included in this variant are Panoramic Sunroof, Internet Car – Connected features, Auto-Dimming IRVM, Wireless Charging, 6 Way Power adjust driver seat, Leather Seats, 18-inch alloys and Infinity Premium Audio System. The additional features in this variant are:
- 360-degree Camera to manage the big SUV better.
- Electric Tailgate for enhanced comfort.
- Fully Digital Speedometer for clear Info for the driver.
- 6 Airbags for added safety.
- Heated ORVMs for better visibility in rainy conditions.
- Powered Co-Passenger Seat for added comfort.
- Auto Headlamps + Auto Vipers
- Ventilated Front Seats to beat the summer heat.
- Ambient Lighting
Along with these new features, the i-SMART has also been updated by MG. This time around the key change is the adoption of Hinglish voice commands. One can give 35 Hinglish commands and the i-SMART will understand it and perform the tasks for you. For example, Sunroof (“Khul Ja Sim Sim”), FM (“FM Chalao”), AC (“Temperature Kam kar do”). This reflects the attention to our Indian sensibilities that MG has provided. This system can also receive updates Over-the-Air, defining the true meaning of internet SUV.
