In this post, I am discussing an insanely modified Maruti Jimny. We know that Jimny is among the best lightweight off-roading machines on the planet. It has been around for over 5 decades in most parts of the world. In India, it is currently on sale in a 5-door iteration for the first time in its history. That enhances the practicality without compromising its hardcore capabilities all that much. However, some owners are still not satisfied with the stock components. That is when aftermarket car modification houses come into the picture. Let us take a look at the details of this latest case.
Modified & Accessorised Maruti Jimny
The details of this heavily modified Maruti Jimny stem from Bimbra 4×4 on YouTube. At first glance, you will notice that while this Jimny retains the original shape, the entire demeanour is much more aggressive and imposing. At the front, you get to experience its hardcore nature with things like a protection cage for the round headlamps, a new bumper with tow hooks, raised ride height, and auxiliary LED lighting mounted on the roof for added visibility during nighttime. There are also additional lights on the bonnet and a functional snorkel to enhance its water-wading capabilities.
On the sides, the wheel arches are quite pronounced with matte black cladding. One even gets to see side steps for easier ingress and egress characteristics. Also, there are broad off-roading tyres with large wheels and a Jerry Can mounted on the rear quarter glass. At the rear, it gets a solid ladder which the users can utilize to climb onto the roof. The roof has a spoiler and luggage carrier. On the inside, this Jimny gets red accents throughout the cabin to induce that sporty nature. All in all, these are some pretty handy modifications which would appeal to just about every off-roading enthusiast.
Our View
This has to be among the most practical modifications on a Maruti Jimny. People often either go overboard or are too afraid of altering the stock settings. But these are usable alterations which enhance the off-roading capabilities of the vehicle. However, I must mention here that most car customizations are illegal in our country. Hence, you must consult your RTO prior to going for any changes to the components of your car. I suggest you should only opt for those modifications which the authorities approve of. In that way, you won’t encounter any issues with the law.
