New Honda Amaze 2018 to Feature an All-new Design Inside-out.
The new Honda Amaze 2018, codenamed Honda-2UB, has been rendered by the good folks at Autocar India and the same has been posted on the cover of their magazine’s December issue. The compact sedan is said to feature sharper design elements. The interiors will be completely revamped as well.ย In a move to strengthen their portfolio, Honda Car India Limited has a few products lined upย for release during the next year. One such example is the new Amaze that is expected to be revealed during the Auto Expo 2018 and will feature revolutionary design and practicality. The launch will happen soon after the car’s public debut.

New Honda Amaze 2018 Design Changes
The new amaze has adopted a new sharper design theme in conjunction with its elder sibling i.e. the Honda City. The new car features sharper headlamps neatly aligning with the new front grille that is identical to that of the Honda City. The top variants can offer LED headlights while the lower variants will continue with the conventional halogen bulb. The redesigned front bumper houses a more compact air intake. The outer arches on the bumper add to the shaper design theme and the aerodynamic design will aid better airflow around the vehicle.
The side body of the new 2018 Honda Amaze looks identical to that of the current model but you can expect a few changes in the final iteration of the version to be launched early next year. Since this is an “all-new” model, it will feature revised interiors as well and will take cues from it’s elder sibling in terms of touchscreen infotainment screen on the dashboard, touch-enabledย air-con controls and blue backlit instrument cluster. These features, however, will only be featured in the top end variant.

The second generation Honda Amaze is likely to carry over the same engines from the current Amaze. The lineup includes a 1.2-litre i-Vtec petrol engine and a 1.5-litre i-Dtec diesel unit. We expect Honda to fine tune the engines to deliver more refinement and efficiency but no major changes in terms of mechanical parts.
New Honda Amaze 2018ย Launch and Price
As stated above, Honda Cars India Ltd. is expected to launch the new 2018 Honda Amaze soon after the car’s debut at the Auto Expo 2018. Deliveries should commence sometime in mid-2018. The price-listย hasn’t been declared yet and we shall update you as soon as it’s out.ย Honda Cars India Ltd. will also be launching the next generation Amaze, all-new Civic and the new 7 seater CRV with a diesel engine.
