This latest video of the Maruti Dzire CNG showcases what the compact sedan has to offer. Note that Dzire is the highest-selling sedan in the country. It has been on sale since 2008. Over the years, it has been able to woo customers with consistent updates. Currently, in its 4th-generation avatar, the Dzire bears tons of new-age amenities and an unprecedented 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. That makes it even more desirable (no pun intended!). For now, let us take a look at the details of this vehicle.
New Maruti Dzire CNG
This video stems from TakuliAutoTalks on YouTube. The host has the CNG model of the Maruti Dzire in its top ZXi avatar. At the front, it gets sleek LED headlamps with a gloss black panel in between and a massive grille section with horizontal elements. On the extreme edges of the bumper, there is a black fog lamp housing. Moving down the sides reveals black alloy wheels, black B-pillars and prominent wheel arches. Finally, the tail section contains a boot lid-mounted spoiler, Y-shaped LED taillamps, a shark fin antenna and a chrome belt connecting the lights. All in all, it certainly looks premium.

In terms of the specifications, it carries the same powertrain as the latest Swift. Hence, we see a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z12E naturally aspirated petrol engine with CNG option which generates a decent 70 PS and 102 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. This mill uses a sole 5-speed manual transmission. However, the biggest talking point is the segment-best mileage figure of 33.73 km/kg. The Dzire CNG ZXi bears a retail sticker of Rs 9.84 lakh, ex-showroom. Note that the petrol ZXi has a price tag of Rs 8.89 lakh, ex-showroom. Hence, the CNG trim commands a premium of Rs 95,000.
