Brabus designs special kits for all sorts of Mercedes products. It has been doing it for decades and has custom kits for almost all the major models of the German luxury carmaker. G-Wagon is one of the most popular SUVs in the world. It comes with a powerful engine and a ton of off-roading kit from the factory. But Brabus is able to devise a kit to enhance its capabilities even further. In the below image, a massive scoop on the bonnet is clearly visible.

Brabus kit is not just aesthetically curated but also has mechanical benefits. It can change the engine and performance characteristics as well if one wishes to do that. The details of the Brabus kit are not known but we can expect a few re-calibrations to the engine as well. In India, the range of these kits starts at Rs 5 lakh.

In its regular form, the G-Wagon comes powered by a massive 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 petrol engine that outputs a colossal 585 hp and 850 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine has a sporty 9-speed automatic AMG SPEEDSHIFT transmission that sends power to all four wheels. There are a ton of accessories to ensure great off-roading-worthiness. Despite its mammoth weight, the powerful engine pulls the car from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 secs. The top speed is limited to 220 km/h.
