The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo Edition is available in petrol as well as diesel engine iterations of this sedan in the manual and automatic options.
Skoda Auto India has today re-introduced its Monte Carlo marque in the Indian market with its Rapid mid-size sedan. The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo Edition has been launched in India at a startign price of INR 11.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Monte Carlo Editions of the Rapid mid-size sedan pays homage to the brand’s motorsport heritage and the famour ralley Monte Carlo. The city in the principality of Monaco is synonymous with extravagance, glamour, elegance and motorsports.
The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo edition is a cosmetic upgrade to the standard version of this mid-size sedan. It is available in a single shade of ‘Flash Red’ across all Skoda dealerships.

Other cosmetic highlights of this special edition include an all black front grille, gloss black ORVMs, quartz-cut projector headlamps with chrome garnish, 16-inch clubber dual-tone alloy wheels, ‘Monte Carlo’ badging, black roof foil, black tailgate spoiler and black grained sporty diffuser.
On the inside, the Rapid Monte Carlo edition comes with a three-spoke flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel and the gear knob come with black perforated leather and red decorative stitching. In addition to this, there is Monte Carlo branded leatherette seat upholstery with grey vertical stripes, ribbed stainless steel foot pedals and scuff plates with ‘MONTE CARLO’ inscription, piano black centre console and abundant chrome accents.

The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo edition comes with features such as 6.5-inch colour touchscreen Central Infotainment System. It is equipped with SmartLink™ technology (the ล KODA connectivity bundle supporting MirrorLinkยฎ, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto) which mirrors the smartphone for seamless connectivity and undistracted drive; besides supporting Aux-in, USB, and Bluetooth options.
Other features include automatic climate control with rear AC vents, Rain-Sensing Wiper system, built-in cruise control, a multifunctional display, height and length adjustable steering wheel, adjustable headrests and foldable armrests, tinted windows and windscreen and a rearview camera.
The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo edition comes with dual airbags along with ABS as standard. While the electronic stability control along with hill-Hold control features
With this special edition of the Skoda Rapid, the engine specifications remain the same. It continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre diesel and the 1.6-litre petrol engine with power outputs of 108 BHP and 104 BHP respectively.
