Tata Harrier spotted with a sunroof. It will likely come on the BS6 compliant engine which produces more power and an automatic gearbox will be seen onboard too.

The growing segment of mid-size SUVs have put the manufacturers introducing new products and we have already seen Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta and the newly launched MG Hector and upcoming Kia Seltos.

With the growing competition, Tata Harrier which made its mark in January 2019, was an instant bestseller and have been beating the sales of Mahindra XUV500 and Jeep Compass by a good margin. Tata Harrier sports a new design and premium features, however, the option of Sunroof was always a disadvantage among its rivals.

This BS6 compliant engine produces 170 bhp of power which is quite an increase from the on-going spec. And it will continue to get the variable geometry turbocharger. Transmission options include a 6-speed torque converter unit from Hyundai and the standard 6-speed manual transmission.

Tata Harrier is equipped with features like a large 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It gets 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, auto headlamps, push-button start, rear AC vents, nine-speaker JBL music system and among others.
