Tata Kite5 Launch Date
The Tata Kite aka sedan launch date will be unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016, which means the car would go on sale in the first quarter of next year.

Price
Like we mentioned earlier, the Kite-based compact sedan will be a replacement for the Indigo eCS. This means that prices of this car could start at just INR 3.80 lakhs. Quite obviously then, this model will sit in a price segment lower than that of the Zest. It may be noted that the Indigo eCS has been very successful, especially among the fleet operators and the major reason for a terrific sales performance has been its competitive price tag. It would be safe to assume that Tata Motors would adopt a similar strategy for the Kite-based sedan.

Specifications
The upcoming Kite sedan will be powered by a set of new developed petrol and diesel motors that will be high on power, refinement and fuel efficiency. The petrol version will get a 1.2-litre normally aspirated petrol motor that will be derived from the just launched Revotron engine. The diesel model gets a new Revotorq turbocharged diesel engine.
