Tata Harrier Design Sketches

It is always fascinating to see how the design of any car is incepted as we take a look at the first design sketches of the Tata Harrier facelift. Sketches reveal the inception of any new car. Harrier has stood as one of the Indian auto giant’s most popular and significant products in recent years. It played a pivotal role in enabling Tata Motors to enter the competitive mid-size SUV segment. When the original Harrier was introduced, there were relatively few competitors in this category. However, today, we have options such as the Mahindra Scorpio N, Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, Jeep Compass, and MG Hector. Consequently, a comprehensive update for the Harrier was long overdue. Finally, after months of anticipation, we now have the revamped Harrier in reality. Let us take a look at how it all started.

These emerge from tatamotorsdesign on Instagram. We can clearly see the inspiration for the final product. It seems like the design team was confident from early on. Admittedly, the sketches have transformed into the production model quite accurately. This means that these sketches indicate the final phase of the process. The front section has a full-length LED light bar culminating into LED DRLs on either side on the bonnet, there is a massive grille separated by a sleek black component, a sturdy bumper, LED headlamps on the extreme edges of the bumper and a wide stance. Unfortunately, there are no visuals regarding the rear profile.
