Check out the list of top 10 selling two-wheelers in India for the month of July 2019. For this month, Honda Activa overtakes Splendor with a huge margin.
As we see that the auto sector is facing a slowdown for some months now, some best-selling models have taken a hit. In the two-wheeler segment, the situation is the same as the best-selling model takes a negative hit.
For the top 10 selling two-wheelers in India for July this year, Honda Activa tops the list. The second spot is taken by Hero Splendor, but it has suffered a sizeable negative growth. Here is the list:

Usually, the difference between Splendor and Hero HF Deluxe is higher, but this time is very near. The fourth position is as usual taken by Honda CB Shine, the most popular 125cc commuter, followed by the Hero Glamour.
This time, TVS Apache is not found in the top 10 list, which usually takes up either of the last three spots. For 3-4 months now, Royal Enfield Classic 350 is also not on the list, which was actually amongst the top-10 selling two-wheelers of India.

The last spot is taken by TVS Luna moped, just above 50,000 units. Bajaj Platina, Suzuki Access and Honda CB Shine are the only ones in the list who have seen positive Y-o-Y growth with Access seeing positive monthly growth as well.
Overall, the top 10 selling two-wheelers have seen a combined decrease of 11.34% in July this year, from 11.65 Lakh units in 2018 to 10.33 Lakh units this year. The slump in the auto sector is the primary reason for declining sales, which will get better in some time.
