The 50% reduction of Value Added Tax (VAT) on electric/hybrid vehicles has led to Toyota Kirloskar Motorย slashing the price of the hybrid variant of itsย Camry sedanย by INR 2.30 lakhs!ย The Toyota Camryย now costs INR 30.90 lakhs for the hybrid variant. The current-generation Toyota Camry is available in India in two engine variants- petrol and hybrid. The currentย Camry was launched in India in early 2015. The current iteration of the globally successful sedan looks much more stylish and is loaded with more features thanย the pre-facelift car. The new 2015 Toyota Camry petrol variant is powered by aย 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine churns out a maximum power of 181 PS and a peak torque ofย 233 Nm. The engine comes mated to aย 6-speed automatic transmission. The new 2015 Camry Hybrid gets the same gasoline motor, but also benefits from an electric motorย ย that bumps up the power to 205 PS. The motor comes mated to a CVT transmission.

As we just said, the new Toyota Camry 2015 carries a host of visual updates and updates.
