Kid Riding Honda Activa in Delhi-NCR

A video of a kid riding a Honda Activa on the streets of Delhi-NCR is doing rounds on the internet. We know that a lot of people in India don’t follow traffic regulations strictly. Unfortunately, that is the reason why we lose lakhs of lives on our roads each year. As a result, we keep witnessing questionable activities on our road every day. This latest incident is a perfect case in point. We also know that the legal age to drive a vehicle in India is 18 years. Here are the details of this latest instance.

Kid Riding Honda Activa

This post comes from automotorinfo on Instagram. It captures a kid riding the Activa amidst heavy traffic. Someone travelling in a car behind this scooter records the entire incident. The kid gives a left indicator and then ends up turning right. What is even more shocking is the fact that there is no one to stop him. Firstly, he is evidently underaged. He can’t be riding automobiles. Secondly, he is not even wearing a helmet. That could prove to be fatal if anything terrible were to occur. Thirdly, he is flouting the traffic regulations completely by giving false indicators.

All these factors can lead to a horrific accident. Unfortunately, if that were to happen, it isn’t just him who would be affected. With such heavy traffic, anyone could get entangled in this situation. In fact, that is what ends up happening on the roads frequently. People who are following traffic rules and concentrating on their own driving could easily get affected by such a crash in their vicinity. Hence, we always advise our readers to stay away from such miscreants. By the way, this incident comes from Delhi-NCR.

What We Think

It is surprising to witness such activities in broad daylight. There is no traffic Police official to stop and challan this boy. That gives encouragement to a whole lot of people to do whatever they wish. We hope that the authorities will take notice of this stupid act and take action against his parents. After all, they are responsible for allowing an underage kid to ride on the bustling roads of Delhi. Furthermore, we urge our readers to report such miscreants to the authorities so that proper action can be taken against them. Let us pledge to be responsible drivers.
