Volkswagen has tasted success with Polo and Vento in India, but both models have started showing their age. The sales of the Polo and Vento have been facing slowed down lately as customers are opting for newer models such as the Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz, Maruti Ciaz, Honda City, etc. Plus, with the festive season beginning soon VW is keen to cash in on this highly lucrative period with the introduction of new special editions. Dubbed the Polo Exquisite and Vento Highline Plus, both variants come with a bunch of cosmetic changes and a few additional features. Price
The Polo Exquisite will b based on the Highline trim and will NOT come at any additional cost. The Vento Highline Plus, however, will command a premium of around INR 29,000 over the standard Highline trim.
Features
Both cars feature a carbon fibre wrap for the ORVMs, black roof wrap, black body side moulding, scuff plates, carbon fibre finish for the centre console, detachable window blinds and textile mats. . The Polo also features chrome garnish on the bootlidย and seat covers embossed with the logo. On the other hand, the Vento gets a new Blaupunkt audio system which supports navigation and SD card.

Specs
No mechanical changes have been carried out and the hatchback and sedan pair continue to be powered by the same set of engines without any alteration in the specifications. The VW Polo Exquisite will be available with the 74 bhp 1.2 L Petrol and the 89 bhp 1.5 L diesel. While the Vento Highline Plus is available with a 103 bhp 1.6 L petrol and a 103 bhp 1.5 L diesel.
Both these special editions should go on sale very soon along with plenty of special editions from other manufacturers as well.
