Zac Hollis, a seasoned professional in the automotive industry who previously served as Director of Sales, Service, and Marketing at Skoda Auto India, is poised to join MG Motor. According to his recent social media post, it appears he will be based in the UK.

Zac Hollis a Favourite of Skoda Auto India Customers
The automotive industry veteran embarked on his career in 1997 as a Financial Controller at Skoda UK. Over the course of nearly 25 years, he held diverse roles within the Volkswagen Group, spanning locations such as the Czech Republic, China, Ireland, and most recently, India. In November 2018, Hollis assumed the role of Director at Skoda Auto India, where he played a pivotal role in introducing multiple products and enhancing the Group’s footprint in the Indian market.
Hollis is recognized as a charismatic leader who garnered appreciation from Skoda customers for his approachability and engagement with stakeholders through social media. Remarkably, Skoda India experienced significant sales growth during his tenure. In FY2019, with its limited model range, the company sold just 16,521 units, but by FY2022, this figure had nearly doubled to 33,962 units. Although an official announcement is pending, Hollis personally shared the news of his new role on Twitter.

Petr Solc Successor of Zac Hollis at Skoda Auto India

Petr Solc has assumed the role of Director โ Sales & Marketing at Skoda Auto India, succeeding Zac Hollis, who is transitioning to a different role within the VW Group. Prior to this appointment, Petr Solc served as the Head of Skoda division at VW Group Russia, accumulating over 17 years of experience with the Skoda brand. His new responsibilities officially commenced on September 1, 2022.
With a Master’s degree in Economics from the Technical University in Liberec, Petr Solc embarked on his career at Skoda Auto in 2005. He held several sales managerial positions in the Northern Europe region before joining Volkswagen Group UK in 2013. Returning to Skoda headquarters in 2016, he assumed the role of Head of Sales for the Eastern Europe region.
