Bajaj Auto India Sales Grew Strongly In January 2012

Bajaj Auto India Limited is among the most profitable automobile companies in the entire world with high operating margins. Bajaj has been able to achieve the same with its sharp focus on a few products which sell in high volumes in India and well as in exports. January 2012 has been a positive month for the automaker with 7% growth in Motorcycles sales which stood at 294439 units compared to 275622 units in the same month last year. The commercial vehicles (CVs) sales by Bajaj also grew by a strong 14% at sales of 43436 CVs in Jan 2012 compared to 37961 in Jan 2011. Which makes a cumulative domestic sales growth of 8% which is a good number. Both in motorcycles and commercial vehicles, these are the highest ever January sales for Bajaj Auto till date. Bajaj Pulsar 350 To Launch In 2013 After KTM Duke 350 Launch

Yes, there is a connection between the KTM Duke and Bajaj Pulsar and it is official. Bajaj is working with KTM in India for the Development and marketing of the KTM bikes. The recently launched Naked sports bike KTM Duke 200 followed by the Bajaj Pulsar 200 Naked Sports Bike was no mere coincidence. To achieve economies of scale, there two bikes do share a lot of technology and design elements as well. During the official unveiling of the Pulsar 200 NS in Mumbai India, Rajiv Bajaj revealed that there will be a Bajaj Pulsar 350 which will be launched in 2013. Bajaj Auto India Limited recently launched the KTM Duke 200 in New Delhi on 24th of January 2012 (click here for more details), barely a week after that, on 30th January 2012, Bajaj has unveiled the Bajaj Pulsar 2012 new range which is largely inspired by KTM design language because both KTM Duke 200 and Pulsar 2012 new model have been designed by same design team.
