Here are the fresh set of interior spy pics of 2018 Maruti Ertiga. The 8-seater MPV is all set to launch in India on 21st November.
The bookings for the car have begun starting today at a price of Rs 11,000.
Next-generation Ertiga launch is just around the corner and here we have clear images of its interiors. Maruti Suzuki has started dispatching units to various dealerships, and this spy picture has been taken at a dealership.
Looking at the photos, we can say that the new Ertiga has just moved on to a new premium level. The bookings have already begun and the deliveries will commence from the end of November.

2018 Maruti Ertiga receives many new features, a larger body and a new petrol engine too.
So, here we have the top-end diesel trim of Ertiga. It gets a beige themed interior, which also comes in the current one. The flat-bottom steering wheel and MID Instrument cluster is borrowed from the Dzire. Since this is the top-end trim, it gets steering mounted controls. The fauxย wood design on the dashboard also comes from the Dzire.
New Ertiga gets the same SmartPlay infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in the centre of the dashboard. Below that is the automatic climate control, which will come in the top-end trim only. We can also see 2 USB outlets in the front with 2 holders in the front.
Moving on the back seat, 60:40 split seats and adjustable headrests are standard across all variants. At the rear, it gets a centre armrest and another USB outlet for passengers at the back. 2018 Maruti Ertiga continues with the AC blower for 2nd and 3rd row.

2018 Maruti Ertiga is now bigger than its predecessor because of the new HEARTECT platform.
Design upgrades include a revised bodywork with many sharp creases over the body. It seems to be a bit sportier than the current generation.
Mechanically, it gets a huge upgrade. Instead of the 1.4 Litre petrol unit, 2018 Maruti Ertiga gets the new 1.5 Litre SHVS petrol engine. The engine puts out 107 BHP and 138 Nm of peak torque.
The petrol engine now pairs up with the SHVS mild-hybrid system. Earlier, it used to come only in diesel variant. It still continues with the tried and tested 1.3 Litre DDiS 200 engine.

For transmission purpose, the MPV comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional Automatic unit for the petrol variant. The diesel variant will only come with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Safety features aboard 2018 Maruti Ertiga include ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors and dual front airbags as standard fitments. The top-end variants will offer a rear view parking camera with a possible chance of 6 airbags.
