  • Hyundai Alcazar is the 7-seat version of the Creta SUV.
  • It was launched in India in April 2021, and the facelift is long overdue.
  • This digital iteration highlights some modifications that might make it to the real-life model.

The 2023 facelift version of the Hyundai Alcazar has been neatly captured in this digital rendition. Alcazar has been quite successful despite the stiff competition from tons of players in the space. That is because its donor model, the Creta, is the most successful SUV in recent times in terms of sales. But the Alcazar had some more features compared to the already feature-loaded Creta mid-size SUV. Now, the digital version of the 7-seat SUV has been illustrated in this image.

All these updates qualify to make this the refreshed version of the Alcazar the launch of which might just be around the corner. In addition to that, the new Alcazar could also get the ADAS features and some more convenient amenities.

Specs

As far as the powertrain options are concerned, there will most likely be no changes. This means that the facelifted version would come powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre unit making 159 PS and 191 Nm. The diesel engine will be the Creta-sourced 1.5-litre BS6-compliant unit making 115 PS and 250 Nm of peak power and torque. Both these engines can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter unit. The prices of the existing version range from Rs 15.89 lakh to Rs 20.65 lakh, ex-showroom. The facelifted version would bear a certain premium over these prices.
