In the latest incident, a BTech passout is seen selling golgappa the cart of which is attached to a Royal Enfield Bullet. Bullet is a household name in our country. But it has not been associated with young girls all that much. Not that they are not capable of handling it. In fact, that is exactly what this 21-year-old Taapsee Upadhyay is set out to prove. She has completed her BTech and now owns and operates a golgappa stall near the Tilak Nagar metro station in Delhi. Here are the details.

BTech Passout Runs Golgappa Cart Made Using RE Bullet
The video has been uploaded by are_you_hungry007 on Instagram. The caption reads, “Let’s viral them.” Presumably, this handle promotes inspiring stories on the internet. In this case, Taapsee Upadhyay runs this stall which is named ‘BTech Panipuri Wali’. It is not uncommon in our country that degree holders end up having to do odd jobs. This is due to two reasons – there are no quality pass-outs coming out of not quality colleges and the lack of jobs for the burgeoning young population.

Talking about Taapsee, she shows how her golgappa paani is made and she has this customized recipe which is what makes her food so delicious and popular. Also, she talks about the fact that people ask her why is she selling golgappas when she has a BTech degree. Moreover, she is seen pulling the food cart using her Royal Enfield Bullet which is not all that common either. But she is dispelling all the orthodox notions ascribed to women in general.

That is the modern approach that a lot of young people carry. They are willing to work hard and earn honest money. Also, the gender gap among youngsters is not all that prevalent. Technology and rational thinking have helped eradicate established preconceived notions about how a society should be like. This is a sign of a modern and progressive India.
