You might have seen numerous digital iterations of various vehicles on the internet, but this downsized 3-door version of a full-size SUV is something truly special.

Initially, it looks like a toy version of the actual SUV because we are so used to watching the Fortuner with huge dimensions. In this case, the entire second row of doors has been committed and the second row features the fixed black windows that are generally seen in the third row of the regular Fortuner. You would also notice the deletion of the doors lending a free-floating roof effect with blacked-out B-pillars. There are functional roof rails and a roof-mounted rear spoiler. All the other bits including the front fascia, the side profile and the rear layout remain the same. Even the alloy wheels are the same as on the regular version.

Specs

The regular Toyota Fortuner is powered by a 2.7-litre petrol unit (164 bhp / 245 Nm) and a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine (201 bhp / 420 Nm). It is paired with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. With the automatic transmission, the torque produced is a massive 500 Nm with the diesel mill. There is plenty of off-roading equipment on offer to make it immensely capable in terrains without tarmac roads. The prices of the Fortuner range from Rs 31.79 lakh to Rs 48.43 lakh, ex-showroom.
