Our sources have hinted us that Kia Carnival MPV has started reaching dealerships and will come in seven-seater, eight-seater and nine-seater options.

The launch of Kia Carnival MPV is just around the corner and ahead of that, some dealerships have started receiving the units. Our sources further suggest that the MPV will come in three our four trims, the top-end going up to Rs 35 Lakhs.

Kia Carnival will come in 7-seater, is 8-seater and 9-seater options. Our source suggested that 9-seater option will come on the base variants and the top-end will come with a 7-seater option only. The configuration will be individual captain seats on the second row and a three-seater on the third row.

Three seating options will cater to a large group of buyers, who can also see the Carnival as an expensive people mover. It will be interesting to see if the Carnival will also cater to the commercial fleet buyers, just like the Innova and Ertiga.

Most likely, the Kia Carnival MPV will come with a BS-6 compliant 2.2 Litre turbo-diesel engine. The motor will be able to produce 202 BHP and 441 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed AT is confirmed for the Carnival, but the base variants could also come with a manual gearbox.
