BS6 Honda Jazz – May 2020
Honda has already teased the BS6 compliant Jazz which will get a minor facelift as well. We can see some possible tweaks to the headlamp and tail lamp design on the outside. However, largely, the hatch will remain as it is just with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines.
Hyundai i20 New Generation – July 2020
Hyundai’s next big launch for this year is the new generation i20. The updated hatch will get a new and more powerful diesel engine along with a 1.0 Litre turbo-petrol unit. It has been revealed for the global markets and we might get something similar to that itself. Major upgrades will include an electric sunroof, turbo engine, LED headlamps and Blue Link technology.
Kia Sonet – August 2020
At the Auto Expo 2020, Kia showcased the Sonet sub-compact SUV in a concept form. By August this year, Kia is going to launch the rival for Hyundai Venue and Maruti Vitara Brezza. It is based on the platform of Venue and will also borrow its engines. However, Sonet will follow a more modern and muscular appeal.
Nissan Magnite – August 2020
This August, we will see another compact SUV launched in the market. Nissan and Renault are co-developing a new small SUV that will be priced much below their rivals. Loaded with many premium features, Nissan Magnite will actually be a rival to Maruti WagonR and Renault Triber with prices around 5-6 Lakh.
Renault Kiger – October 2020
Unlike the Nissan Magnite and its traditional styling, Renault will adopt a more modern and sturdy look for the Kiger. Renault’s upcoming SUV will be priced under Rs 6 Lakhs and will offer electric sunroof, rear parking camera, internet car technology and much more. It has already been spied testing a couple of times.
Renault Triber AMT – August 2020
Renault has kept buyers waiting for a long time with the Triber AMT. After showcasing it at the Auto Expo 2020, Renault will be launching the automatic Triber by July-August period. There are chances that it might come with the turbo-petrol engine that Triber is going to get soon.
Tata HBX Micro SUV – December 2020
Tata’s upcoming micro SUV, HBX is most likely to be launched towards the end of this year. It was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 in a concept version, otherwise, we have also seen it through spy shots. Tata HBX will sit between Nexon and Tiago, going against the likes of Mahindra KUV100 and Maruti Ignis.
Datsun Redi-GO Facelift – May 2020
Recently, Datsun teased the Redi-GO facelift giving us an assurance that it will receive a BS6 compliant engine. The entry-level hatch will get refreshed styling, new gearbox options and a couple of new features as well. Redi-GO is reportedly also getting some tweaks to increase the safety level of passengers.
