Recently, we brought to a striking middleweight streetnaked concept based on the Bajaj Pulsar. Conceptualized by ABIN DESIGN’S, the said design study visualised a very mean and muscular avatar of the popular motorcycle with a 650cc heart. Today, we have yet another Pulsar-based concept from the same designer that gives the homegrown street motorcycle a look that is comparable to nothing less than the Ducati Monster.

This time around, we don’t have the details of the motor that the designer has visualised for his creation but what we do have are two headlamp styles. Of course, our favourite one is the version with the round headlamp and a large fly screen. In this avatar, the Pulsar manages to look totally badass and the red paint shade makes it look as dynamic as the Ducati Monster. Even the other version, which features a bikini fairing, looks quite bold and impresses with its world-class look. Overall, the modifications have been successful in making the Pulsar look like a two-wheeler straight out of an Italian motorcycle-producing factory.

The front-end of this concept carries gold-plated upside-down forks that flank large-size petal-style twin-disc brake rotors mounted on a 5-spoke mag wheel found on the earlier generation Pulsars. As we said, the headlamp comes with a large fly screen and gives the bike its street naked appeal. Moving ahead, the large tank shrouds seem to be modified versions of the one on the NS200, while the tank itself is based on what the 200cc Pulsar model offers. Even the engine cover is a typical Pulsar affair with bronze paint, while the NS200-like oil-cooler is also visible. The exhaust is a twin-cap setup similar to what you see on the Ducati. The seat seems to be a single-unit setup but has a stepped design. Also, the tailpiece looks quite dynamic with faux air vents and no visible grab rails. Moreover, the motorcycle gets a tail-tidy kit while the rear wheel gets a tyre hugger. Other highlights include a yellow-painted L-size gas-charged mono shock, Brembo brake callipers and black cladding on the tank’s knee recess to protect the paintwork.

As we said, there is not even a single bit of information on the specifications of the motorcycle as this is totally a work of an artist’s imagination. In fact, Bajaj Auto Ltd doesn’t even plan to launch a bigger-than-Pulsar 220 motorcycle. While the Dominar was speculated to become the 400cc Pulsar offering, the bike manufacturer decided to give it an all-new identity instead. That said, we do love this Ducati Monster-inspired Bajaj Pulsar concept and wish it makes it to the production.
