This Made-in-India Tesla rival is set to make its grand entry into the EV segment of our market. Check out the details of this Indian startup that plans to put India on the world map.

Pravaig Extinction is a Made-in-India Tesla rival that is soon about to launch in our market. Pravaig has been operational in the automobile industry since 2011 when it first started making off-roading vehicles. Now, it has its manufacturing facility in Bengaluru where the Mk1 prototype will lead the way for the Extinction Mk2 production model. It will be aimed at the B2B marketplace with fleet and commercial operations where the company sees great potential. Resultantly, there will be no dealership network required. The company itself will approach the potential customers. Here are the details of the Pravaig Extinction.

Pravaig Extinction Specifications

The Extinction boasts of some impressive numbers that can actually give a comparable Tesla model a run for its money. There will be a 96 kWh battery pack that will power the electric motor to produce 130 hp and over 500 km of range on a single charge. The 0-100 km/h sprint comes up in just 4.3 seconds. Charging time from 0-80% is just 30 minutes using a fast charger. The company is confident of a full 5-star safety rating since it has been following the Euro crash test regulations in its internal testing. The carmaker also mentions a silk-smooth suspension system for maximum passenger comfort and great ride quality.

Interiors and Features

The interiors are designed to give the occupants a luxurious experience. Since it is developed for B2B customers, the cabin could be customised for any arrangement. It might feature the option of not having the front seat to ensure optimal utilisation of the space at the rear. The cabin will have features like Limousine Partition, On-Board Ultra-Fast WiFi, 15-inch Folding Desks for Laptops, Plenty of Charging Points, Vanity Mirrors, Massive Legroom, great NVH levels for Noiseless Cabin, Himalayan Air with PM 2.5 Air Filteration, Premium Devialet Speakers for Ultra-Dense Sound, Mirror Content from all Devices, and much more. Clearly, the aim is to make the experience as opulent as possible with further options of customisation.

It should even serve as a good option for all those who wish to buy a Tesla for the future-ready package it offers but have not been able to do so till now owing to the latter’s unavailability.
