Kia Seltos is among the most successful SUVs right now. It comes with impressive looks, features and driving dynamics. While the India-spec model has faced flak for a 3-star rating in Global NCAP tests, the mid-size SUV continues to be one of the most popular cars in the Indian market. Now, the company is all set to bring a facelifted version on the road. Test mules of the new 2022 Kia Seltos Facelift have been spotted testing on the South Korean roads and the images from the recent sighting have been uploaded on Instagram. 2022 Kia Seltos Facelift
As you can see in the images above, the Kia Seltos 2022 features a sporty build. You can spot the sharper front grille section, stylish alloy wheels, black A pillars, and a minimal roof rail. There are also redesigned LED headlamps and LED tail lamps. The front and rear bumpers have been updated as well. Additionally, the upcoming car comes with is likely to come with an ADAS radar module. You will get features like autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot detection, lane keep assist, cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, and more. We could see a slight price hike for the facelift model.
Currently, the Kia Seltos is on sale with a price tag of Rs 9.95 lakh – Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in three engine variants – 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel, and 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol. All engines can be paired with either a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, 7-speed DCT, or a CVT transmission option.

The 1.5-liter oil-burner engine offers 115 PS and 250 Nm. On the other hand, the petrol model packs a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine (115 PS, 144 Nm) or a 1.4-liter Turbo with direct injection (140 PS, 242 Nm). The 2022 Kia Seltos could get a petrol hybrid system instead of the diesel version but we’ll know for sure only closer to the launch.
