Both Skoda Kushaq and Hyundai Creta offer great build quality and driving features. But how different is the driving experience?

The Hyundai Creta is in its second generation now. It comes with features like ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), up to six airbags, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, LED headlights/ tail lamps, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech. Just like the Skoda Kushaq, it is one of the preferred choice for driving enthusiasts. Here is what the Kushaq owner had to say about the Hyundai Creta.

As you see in the new YouTube video by Harshit Arora, the Hyundai Creta top model (1.5 Diesel) immediately impressed the Kushaq owner. The SX(O) variant is apparently lighter than the Skoda Kushaq. Additionally, the driver could immediately feel the extra power and torque. While the gear shift was also sleeker than the Skoda Kushaq, the steering wheel is heavier. The features on the car also impressed the Skoda owner. Even the AC and seats seemed better than the SKoda Kuhsaq. The Creta also has an advantage in term of suspension and brakes. Overall, the car fared much better in most aspects.

The current-gen Hyundai Creta is priced at Rs 10.16 lakh – Rs 17.87 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder unit (115 PS/ 145 Nm)/1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine (115 PS/ 250 Nm)/ a 1.4-liter turbo-petrol T-GDI engine (143 PS/ 242 Nm). Both the petrol and diesel engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission and optional automatic transmissions (CVT and a 6-speed torque converter, respectively). The turbo petrol engines come with a 7-speed DCT only.

Special features on the car include electronic stability control, up to six airbags, rearview parking camera, wireless charging, sunroof, connected car tech, ventilated front seats, hill hold control, and tyre pressure monitoring system.
