Kia EV6 will make its local debut later this month and will become the most expensive offering in its carmaker's product portfolio.

The EV wave is about to hit the Indian market with such force that future mobility will most likely get transformed rather quickly than we would have initially anticipated.

The India-bound Kia EV6 is about to hit our market quite soon and this review of the electric crossover by foreign media could help us get a hint as to what it will be like. The EV6 might see competition from its sibling, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 right from the start. Hence, it becomes critical to experience what the electric car offers in terms of exterior design, interior cabin, powertrain options, and modern connectivity features.

India-bound Kia EV6 Review – Exterior Styling

The exterior styling of the EV6 is quite elegant and contemporary. It is not polarising like some other EVs. The front end features a sloping bonnet line, sleek LED headlamps connected by a black panel, an aerodynamic bumper with a sharp splitter and huge fog lamp housings on either side. At the sides is where you will experience the sheer length of this vehicle. The snazzy alloy wheels and the black cladding on the side body accentuate the side profile. The rear end features a sloping roofline into the tail lip spoiler lending it that crossover appearance. The cooped out LED taillamp strip and the roof-integrated spoiler add to the charm of the rear section.

Interior & Features

The cabin of the EV6 is ultra techy with a large dual touchscreen display at the centre for an infotainment system and instrument cluser. The steering wheel is a 2-spoke unit like that on video games, the centre console between the front two seats is designed in such a way that it stores things and has the buttons for drive modes and start/stop due to no gear lever. The parking, driving, and neutral are controlled via a rotary dial freeing up space for a water bottle holder and wireless smartphone charger.
