Volkswagen India has announced the IPL Edition – II of Volkswagen Polo and Volkswagen Vento in India. This is the second time the Volkswagen is launching IPL Limited edition cars with some added features and branding elements associated with the car. The cars are already on display on Volkswagen Dealerships in India and the sales will start in April 2012. The price of the IPD-II special edition for Volkswagen Polo and Vento start at Rs. 6.13 Lakhs and Rs. 7.08 Lakhs respectively. The Polo IPL-II special edition will come in three different trim levels while the Vento will come in 4 trim levels.

The Volkswagen Polo IPL-II Special edition will get interactive car pad with multimedia entertainment system. Apart from this it will get GPS based Navigation system for telling directions. Also there will be social networking options for the rear seat passengers. In terns of interiors, Polo IPL-II gets dual tone leatherette seat covers, special IPL floor mats, door sill design and IPL branding on the boot.

The Polo IPL –II will be available in three trim levels, 1.2 Litre Petrol Highline priced at Rs. 6.13 Lakhs, 1.6 Litre Petrol Highline at Rs. 6.48 Lakhs and 1.2 Litre Diesel Highline priced at Rs. 7.16 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.

The Volkswagen Vento IPL-2 Special Edition also gets the same features which the Polo IPL-II Special edition gets which includes interactive car pad with multimedia entertainment system. The Vento IPL –II will be available in four trim levels, 1.6 Litre Petrol Trendline priced at Rs. 7.08 Lakhs, 1.6 Litre Petrol Highline at Rs. 8.23 Lakhs, 1.6 Litre Petrol Highline with Automatic Transmission priced at Rs. 9.21 Lakhs and 1.6 Litre Diesel Trendline priced at Rs. 8.28 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
