It seems that the Mercedes GLS is the flavour of the season and we have already seen a ton of actors buying the flagship SUV from the German car marque. In addition to Munna Bhaiya, the lead actor of another popular web series, Scam 1992, Prateek Gandhi also bought the same SUV. While the former preferred the black colour, the latter went for the white colour. The GLS is the flagship SUV from the German luxury carmaker and the prices start at a whopping Rs 1.16 Crore, ex-showroom. You get the latest MBUX Infotainment System, a Panoramic Sunroof, a 13-Speaker Premium Audio System, Electrically Adjustable Front Seats with Memory Functions, 5-Zone Automatic Climate Controle, Soft-Closing Doors, Ambient Lighting and a ton of Safety and ADAS features.

The GLS 400d 4MATIC comes powered by a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder diesel unit producing a healthy 330 hp and 700 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine comes mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. The top speed of the SUV is rated at 238 km/h. Despite the kerb weight of just over 2.5 tons, the SUV accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 secs. This is the sole powertrain option available with the regular GLS. The Maybach version offers more powerful engines and an even plusher cabin.
