In the latest development, a Humvee with an open top was seen on the streets of Mumbai. Mumbai is home to some of the wealthiest people in the country. The main attraction is the Bollywood industry which is why the actors live in the city as well. Apart from that, there are a lot of industrialists and entrepreneurs in Mumbai as well. Humvee in Mumbai
The post has been uploaded by crazycar.india on Instagram. It captures a non-armoured, civilian version of the Humvee on the streets of Mumbai. This is easily the most rugged SUV the carmaker has ever built. There are no side doors and the rear section is that of a pickup truck. In fact, it looks like the Humvee from the past of a modified version that has been derived out of some other vehicle. Nevertheless, the road presence of the SUV is quite imposing. It is able to make heads turn on the busy roads of the city.

The caption of the post reads, “When the Americans heard someone found oil in Mumbai, feat. Humvee which has been spotted after a long time. Good to see it out after a long time. Thanks @mr.xrmxn for the video.” The SUV is finished in the military green paint shade with a retro appearance. The front fascia has round headlamps with rods to protect the bumper and the grille seen on vintage Jeeps from the yester-decades, almost a flat vertical windshield with a roof-mounted wiper.

On the sides, there are massive door openings like one witnesses on an open Jeep in the old movies. At the rear, there is an empty compartment that looks inspired by pickup trucks. The bumpers at the front and rear are hardcore and rugged and there is a man sitting in the rear seat. A product like this is a breath of fresh air in this modern age where automobiles have become sophisticated in the way they look and feel. It must be noted here that back in the early 90s, the Humvee served as the inspiration for the Hummer SUVs for civilian use.
