Just days after being spotted with his TVS Apache RR310, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has now purchased the TVS Ronin motorcycle
If there’s one thing that India’s most successful cricket captain, MS Dhoni is really passionate about other than cricket itself is motorcycles. The former skipper’s love for bikes is well known and his collection includes some really tasty machines. However, not all his bikes are rare or expensive. The ‘captain cool’ even has some mainstream models such as the TVS Apache RR310 he was recently seen riding. Now, Dhoni has just added another TVS to his garage. This time around, it’s a TVS Ronin in the top-spec trim.

MS Dhoni Buys Top Variant of TVS Ronin
The TVS Ronin went on sale in India last year and is a retro-style streetnaked aimed squarely at the Royal Enfield Hunter. The motorcycle is propelled by a 225.9 cc oil-cooled SOHC single-cylinder motor that outputs a maximum power of 20.5 PS along with a peak torque of 19.93 Nm. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed transmission that comes with assist & slipper clutch. Currently, this motorcycle is available in a price range of Rs 1.49 lakh to Rs 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
As aforementioned, MS Dhoni has picked up the top-spec version of this motorcycle. Also, he has opted for the Galactic Grey colour scheme. The fully loaded version comes with a handful of features, including dual-channel ABS, LED headlamp, LED turn indicators, LED taillights, alloy wheels, single-pod digital instrument cluster and adjustable levers. The motorcycle even offers 2 modes for the ABS – Rain & Urban – to let the rider adjust the brake performance in specific riding conditions.

The TVS Ronin was handed over to MS Dhoni by Vimal Sumbly, Business Head for Premium motorcycles at TVS Motor company. Tweeting about the development, the executive posted, “MS DHONI chooses to live #Unscripted. Today we welcomed MS DHONI into the TVS Premium Motorcycles family by gifting him a new #TvsRonin. It was exciting to see a cricketing legend meet a motorcycle that’s pretty much a legend in the making. A hearty congratulations to MS DHONI!”
