The commercial market is also a key area of growth for Maruti Suzuki in addition to dominating the passenger market in India.

Maruti Suzuki launches the powerful Super Carry mini truck in India with a slew of upgrades. The commercial vehicle segment is growing well in our market. As the road infrastructure develops, the e-commerce players are eager to offer last-mile delivery solutions. For that, mini trucks are the only way to deliver goods and services in the remote parts of the country since the roads there are barely present to accommodate a full-fledged truck. To challenge the market share of Mahindra and Tata, Maruti has upgraded its Super Carry as well.

On the outside, the mini truck largely retains the appearance of the outgoing model. This includes things like a sleek rectangular headlamp cluster with a compact grille in between on which the Suzuki logo sits. The bumper is black and rugged. It has a payload capacity of 740 kg (in the petrol variant) and 625 kg (in the CNG variant). Maruti has pepped up the engine and transmission ever so slightly to ensure that steep inclines don’t pose any challenge to its movement.
