Hero has launched the 2023 Karizma XMR 210 with three colours – Iconic Yellow, Phantom Black, and Turbo Red. Karizma has been a legendary name in the Indian automobile industry for years. It was introduced in the mid-2000s. At that time, it became an instant success for carrying those sports-bike looks. What is more impressive is the fact that the aesthetics and performance were being offered to the customers at an extremely affordable price point. It was discontinued from our market for a long time during the mid-2010s. Finally, it is back to challenge the rivals. Here are the details.

2023 Hero Karizma XMR Colours
Needless to mention, most people would still buy the prominent yellow colour on this bike. There is a history attached to this colour which is why Hero has appropriately named it the Iconic Yellow. There are complimentary black elements on the bike including the fuel tank and other engine panels at the side. The XMR graphics on the fairing look neat. The grab handles are grey. Also, the Phantom Black boasts a matte finish. It looks sporty and stylish in its own way. Finally, the Turbo Red is quite attractive as well. All in all, you can’t go wrong with either of these colours.

EMI Schemes
This video comes from Motor Redefined on YouTube. The vlogger mentions a scenario where you pay a minimum downpayment of Rs 36,000. The EMIs would be Rs 16,966, Rs 9,341 and Rs 6,799 for 1 year, 2 years and 3 years duration respectively. Similarly, if you pay almost half (of the total cost) the downpayment of Rs 1 lakh, the EMIs would be significantly lower. These would be Rs 7,727, Rs 6,974 and Rs 4,421 for 1 year, 2 years and 3 years respectively. Note that the vlogger considers the on-road price to be around Rs 2.10 lakh and a rate of interest at around 10%.

Specs
The new Hero Karizma comes with a 210-cc liquid-cooled 4V DOHC engine generating 25.5 PS @9,250 RPM and 20.4 Nm @7,250 RPM of peak power and torque. There is a 6-speed transmission with slip and assist clutch. The dual-channel ABS comes as standard. This bike is built on the Trellis frame with high-tensile steel. At the front, you get a 300 mm disc and a 100-section tyre, while at the rear, there is a 230 mm disc and 140-section tyre. Furthermore, there is a 37 mm telescopic fork at the front with an anti-friction bush and a 6-step pre-load adjustable gas-charged monoshock absorber at the rear. The fuel tank capacity is 11 litres, the ground clearance is 160 mm and the weight of the bike is 163.5 kg. It retails for Rs 1.73 lakh, ex-showroom introductory price.
