The all-new Tata Altroz has finally been unveiled in India. It embodies new styling, redesigned interior, enhanced comfort and carries on the solid performance. Built on the advanced ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) architecture, the premium hatchback takes things a notch higher with the latest tech amenities to pamper the occupants. It has been successful in carving out a niche for itself amidst heavy competition from the Japanese and the Korean adversaries ever since its debut in India back in 2020. The new Altroz comes in 5 trims – Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S and Accomplished +S. Let us check out what’s new for the latest model.
New Tata Altroz Revealed
On the outside, the new Tata Altroz offers a tweak to the appearance. This includes a sleek and bold 3D front grille with sculpted lines, flanked by new Luminate LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs on the top. In addition, the extreme edges of the bumper hold auxiliary lamps, while the bumper oozes a sporty vibe. On the sides, the first change one notices are the flush-fitting door handles. That is something which you only see in cars a couple of segments above. Finally, the tail section showcases a connected LED light bar and a sturdy bumper. Overall, there are enough new elements to distinguish it apart from the outgoing version. The vehicle is available in 5 colours – Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, Royal Blue and Pristine White
On the inside, one immediately recognizes the use of more premium materials, a new plush Grand Prestigia dashboard, UltraView twin HD screens along with a slew of new-age amenities. The top highlights include:

There are no changes to the powertrain options on the new Tata Altroz. This means it continues to draw power from a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine which makes 88 PS and 115 Nm, a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol making 110 PS and 140 Nm and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine which generates a decent 90 PS and 200 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. In the CNG guise, it makes a decent 73.5 PS and 103 Nm. The transmission alternatives include manual, AMT and DCT gearboxes, depending on the variants.
