The new TVS Apache RTX 300 has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh, ex-showroom. This marks a new chapter in the history of TVS in our market. Until now, it has sold all sorts of motorcycles, from everyday bikes, street fighters, to premium supersport motorcycles. Somehow, it never got around to making a thorough off-roading ADV. All that has changed now with the all-new Apache RTX 300. The bookings are underway and the deliveries will commence soon. Let us delve into the details here.
New TVS Apache RTX 300 – Price
As mentioned in the beginning, the prices start at Rs 1.99 lakh for the base trim and go all the way up to Rs 2.29 lakh for the top-spec BTO avatar. The mid-trim bears a retail sticker of Rs 2.14 lakh. Apart from that, there are 5 exterior colours on offer – Viper Green, Tarn Bronze, Metallic Blue, Lightning Black and Pearl White.

New TVS Apache RTX 300
The TVS Apache RTX 300 gets a bold, modern design built for control and comfort. Its tank and headlamp form one solid shape, giving it a strong, stable look on or off the road. The body has clean, rally-style lines that help reduce wind drag and improve performance. The bike also gets a unique lighting setup with sharp DRL blades, floating main beam reflectors, and slim tail lamps. The twin headlamps have a welcome animation and adjust brightness automatically with speed. These features make the Apache RTX 300 practical, aerodynamic, and ready for long rides or daily use.

The new TVS Apache RTX 300 comes with a 299.1 cc, single-cylinder, forward-inclined engine, which generates a healthy 36 PS @9,500 RPM and 28.5 Nm @7,000 RPM of peak power and torque. This mill pairs with a 6-speed gearbox with Assist and Slipper clutch and ride-by-wire throttle system. It is based on the Steel Trellis Frame and gets long-travel WP front suspension (Inverted Cartridge Fork) and long-travel rear suspension (Mono-tube with Floating Piston – MFP). Adjustable levers enhance the ergonomic elements of the motorcycle.

Having closely followed the evolution of TVS over the past decade and a half, I can confidently say the Apache RTX 300 is a strategically smart move. The Indian market has matured, and buyers today actively seek capable ADVs without paying premium big-bike prices. By positioning this motorcycle at an aggressive starting price, TVS is taking direct aim at segment leaders like the BMW G 310 GS and the KTM 390 Adventure. If executed well, the RTX 300 could become a volume driver for TVS in the fast-growing adventure touring space.
