We’ve heardย that the Ford Figo Aspire price could be INR 4.7 lacs for the base petrol model. The upcoming Ford compact sedan will rival some really well established models such as the Maruti Swift Dzire, the Hyundai Xcent and the Honda Amaze. Additionally, the Figo Aspire will also lock horns with the Tata Zest and the Chevrolet Sail. Launch
The Ford Figo Aspire launch will take place at an official event in New Delhi today. Much like the approach adopted by Tata for the Zest and Bolt twins, Ford will also be launching the sedan version before the hatchback. The new Figo hatchback should hit showrooms sometime in October-November 2015

Features
The Ford Figo Aspire will come with some class-leading features, such as side and curtain airbags along with the dual front airbags. It will also offer SYNC, auto aircon, steering-mounted audio controls, Ford MyKey and an alarm system. However, it misses out on features such as a cooled glove box and in-built memory for the audio system.
The variant-wise features list is as follows:
- Ambiente– Rear fog lamps, fabric upholstery, 14 inch steel wheels, 12 V power outlet, follow-me home headlamps, manual aircon, front power windows, dual airbags, remote locking, tilt adjust steering.

As revealed by the brochure scan above, the Figo Aspire will come with a 1.2-litre TiVCT petrol motor and a 1.5-litre TDCi turbocharged diesel engine. While the brochure doesn’t mention anything about the third engine option, the car will also get a 1.5-litre petrol engine that will come mated to aย 6-speed dual-clutch PowerShift automatic gearbox.
