After the launch of the new Figo twins, Ford India launched the new Endeavour in January, 2016. The new Endeavour came in as a complete replacement for the last generation Endy. The new Ford Endeavour is now on sale in a price range of Rs 23.78 lakh to Rs 30.29 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new Endeavour was priced between Rs 23.64 lakh and Rs. 28.15 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) at the time of its launch. New Ford Endeavour Review – Exterior and Interior
The styling at the front resembles the concept showcased earlier with an upright three-part grille, small swept back headlamps, a stylish front bumper under-guard flows onto the bumper to merge into the fog lamps. Move to the side and the design theme from the concept continues, with the raked front windshield, a slightly sloping roofline, up-swept window-line and a slight body sculpting near the bottom of the doors. You can also see that the SUV features subtle roof-rails which sit flush onto the roof. At the rear, the Endeavour gets a new tailgate-mounted spoiler, which is different from the one on the concept car. Rest of the design though is similar to the concept, with the large split tail-lamps, the chunky chrome garnish and the boot lid-mounted number plate holder.
Inside, the Endeavour has borrowed design cues from its pickup truck brethren sold mainly in the US such as the Ford F-150. Ford offers the top end trims with the newer SYNC3 multimedia system in the SUV, which allows for better smartphone integration along with better voice-activated controls etc.

New Ford Endeavour Engine and Transmission
The new model Ford Endeavour comes with two engine and transmission options –
- 2.2-litre 148 bhp diesel and a 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions
- 3.2-litre 197 bhp diesel and a 6-speed automatic transmission
Both engines are available with four wheel drive. The 2.2 L Endeavour can be had in the 4×2 spec as well. Only the Endeavour 2.2 is available with a manual transmission.
