2018 Ford Figo facelift to launch soon after its debut at the Auto Expo 2018
By now it has become fairly well known that Ford India plans to launch a handful of new cars in coming months. One of the most important of these upcoming new Ford cars in India is the facelift for the Figo hatchback. The 2018 Ford Figo Facelift will launch with updated styling and a substantial change under the skin. The refreshed car will come with the company’s new 1.2-litreย and 1.5-litre Petrol engines from the Dragon series of motors. On the other hand, the visual changes will inject some freshness into the overall visual appeal of the car. The launch is likely to take placeย at the Auto Expo 2018.

As speculated by the rendering artist, the 2018 Ford Figo will feature a slightly sportier front-end with an updated grille and a new bumper. There are Daytime Running Lights near the newย foglamps. The styling updates, as visualized in the rendering above, make the car look like the new Fiesta hatchback. The rear will come with a set of new taillamps while te interior will have an updated dashboard. Mainly, there will be a new centre console that will feature the SYNC3 infotainment unit.
Currently, the India-spec Figo is available with three engine options – 2 Petrol and a Diesel. The smallest of the lot is theย 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol motor that outputs a maximum power of 88 PS along with a peak torque of 112 Nm. The 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol motor outputs a maximum power of 112 PS along with a peak torque of 136 Nm. The 1.5-litre Diesel engine is good for 100 PS and 215 Nm. With the launch of the 2018 Ford Figo facelift in India, the current petrol engines will make way for the more modern motors from the Dragon series.
