Mahindra Mojo has still not received ABS for the safety regulations kicking in from next week. Currently, it is offered with discounts up to Rs 75000.

Mahindra Mojo might be discontinued soon enough, because 4 days left and it still does not get ABS. Launched as a premium urban cruiser, for the past many months, its sales has been falling drastically.

Financial Express reports that dealerships are offering massive discounts of up to Rs 75000 on the Mojo UT300. Only 4 days are left to avail this offer, post which, the bike will not be sold in India.

Specially, after the launch of Jawa Motorcycles, Mahindra barely managed to sell of 2-3 units of Mojo in a month. Mahindra with Classic Legends now manufactures Jawa Motorcycles in India.

Dealers are offering a flat Rs 40000 discount on Mahindra Mojo UT300. Rs 60000 discount is offered if you want to exchange it against an old scooter, and for Mahindra Employees, there is a flat discount of Rs 75000.

However, earlier in January, Mahindra two-wheeler dealerships had hinted to us that the updated bikes will be launched. They stated that the remaining stock will be sold and the production of the updated bikes is going on.

Could it be that Mahindra Mojo might get a significant update, which will give it ABS, a BS-6 engine and some engine revisions? There are chances of either it getting a facelift or being discontinued soon.

It uses a 295cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, that is capable of producing 23 BHP and 25.2 Nm of peak torque. The XT variant produces 27 BHP and 30 Nm of peak torque, both the variants mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Features on both the motorcycles include a digital-analogue instrument cluster, Twin-pod headlamps, LED tail lamps, front and rear disc brakes.
