Hyundai Venue will be available in India with the company’s BlueLink technology, making it the first connected SUV. Here are some of its smart features.
Hyundai Venue is all set to be unveiled globally on 17th April 2019. It will be showcased at the New York International Auto Show, following a launch in India in May 2019.
Venue will be India’s first connected SUV, with advanced connectivity features. The technology will offer nearly 33 features onboard, with 10 of them exclusively for the Indian market.
The Blue Link technology will be accessible via smartphone, which will literally act as a remote control for the Hyundai Venue. It will be offered in Indian-accented English, so that it is easily recognizable to the system as well as the users.

The list of features onboard goes on and on. Safety features via Blue Link will include Auto Crash Notification, Road Side Assistance and Panic Notification. In case of an accident, the system will automatically place a call to the call centre for assistance with the Ambulance or Police.
For security purposes, the Blue Link technology offers Stolen vehicle tracking, stolen vehicle notification and vehicle immobilization. Once the user receives a notification if his car is being stolen, he can monitor and track it easily.
As we said, the smartphone will act as a remote control for the SUV. With Blue Link, we can control the engine start-stop button, climate control, door lock and unlock, headlamps, vehicle status and much more.

With the Blue Link, the owner can also access the health reports of the vehicle, maintenance alert and driving behavior. The system will also conduct an auto DTC check of the SUV.
Location based services will include push map from App, live traffic information, destination sharing, live car tracking and live car location sharing.
Lastly, the alert services will include Geo Fencing alert, Speed Alert, Time Fencing alert and Idle Alert.

Hyundai Venue is expected to be priced between Rs 8 Lakhs to Rs 12 Lakhs (ex-showroom), going against Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
