Many dealerships across the country have unofficially started accepting bookings for Hero Xpulse 200 and 200T, ahead of the launch on 1st May.

Hero Xpulse 200 and 200T adventure motorcycles are all set to be launched on 1st May. Meanwhile, the dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the bikes, as we wait for official notification.

Dealerships are accepting booking amounts of Rs 5,000. The deliveries are expected to commence by the second week of May 2019. That too will also depend upon different cities.

Xpulse 200 was showcased back at the 2018 Auto Expo, along with the Xtreme 200R. The 200T was unveiled at EICMA 2018, which literally came as a surprise.

Hero Xpulse 200 gets spoke wire wheels, longer suspension travel, higher placed front beak, knuckle guard and the raise exhaust muffler, making it the off-road friendly version.

Xpulse 200T is the road-friendly version. That’s why the spoked wheels are replaced by alloy wheels. Other differences include a tall tinted visor and the regularly placed exhaust muffler.

Both the motorcycles use the same 199.5cc engine, that comes on Xtreme. The air-cooled engine will come with Fuel-injection system, rather than Carburettor. It produces 18.7 BHP and 17.1 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Both the bikes come equipped with a Bluetooth connected digital console, LED headlamps, LED tail lights, a luggage rack and a single seat.

For suspension, Xpulse 200 and 200T use telescopic forks at the front and a 10 Step Adjustable gas charged monoshock. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both the end with single-ABS as standard.

We expect the Xpulse 200T to be priced a bit cheaper than the off-roader. The prices might start off at Rs 1.1 Lakhs up to Rs 1.2 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
