Hyundai Venue Trim levels revealed – 13 variants and 10 color schemes

Variants and Trims of Hyundai Venue have been revealed with three engines and transmission option, spreading across 13 variants.

Hyundai commenced bookings for its new compact SUV – the Venue, today with a token amount of Rs. 21,000. The Venue is officially slated for launch on the 21st of May but ahead of that, Hyundai Venue trim levels have been announced along with the color options available with the car.

The Venue will essentially be available in four different trim levels and 13 variants to choose from. With three engine options and three transmission options, it is available with a wide range of configurations.

Petrol Variants

For the petrol powered Venue, there will be a total of 8 trim levels. The base ‘E’ and ‘S’ variants will be powered by the 1.2L, 4-cylinder, Kappa engine mated to 5-speed manual gearboxes. The ‘S’ trim can also be had with a 1.0L, GDI, turbocharged, 3-cylinder engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.

Further, the SX, SX(O), SX(Dual-tone) and SX+ trims, wil be powered by the 1.0L, GDI, turbocharged, 3-cylinder engine as standard. The SX, SX(O) and SX(Dual-tone) trims will have a 6-speed MT whereas the SX+ trim will get the 7-speed dual clutch transmission.

Diesel Variants

For the diesel variants, there are essentially five trim levels – E, S, SX, SX(Dual-tone) and the SX(O). All trims are going to be powered by the 1.4L, turbocharged, diesel engine which will come mated to 6-speed MT.

Hyundai has also revealed the colour options available on the Hyundai Venue. There will be seven single tone colours schemes, namely

  1. Start Dust
  2. Fiery Red
  3. Polar White
  4. Typhoon Silver
  5. Deep Forest
  6. Lava Orange
  7. Denim Blue

Further the SX(Dual-tone) will be offered in three colour schemes, namely ‘Denim Blue with Polar White roof’, Polar White with Phantom Black roof’ and ‘Lava Orange with Phantom Black roof’.

The Hyundai Venue has been introduced at an introductory price of Rs. 6.5 lakhs and the top trim tops out at Rs. 11.15 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will take on the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport and the Mahindra XUV300.
