2019 Bajaj Dominar Price Hike

Bajaj Dominar sales shine high with its updated model which comes with added features and a powerful engine.

Bajaj Dominar was launched in April 2019 with added features and few tweaks to its design. The two-wheeler was not doing good in sales number since it was launched so the company took an initiative to improve and seat a new standard for Dominar 400.

The sales number recorded were 1,346 units for the month of April. It is not even close to the 10,000 targeted units but still is far better than the first three months of 2019.

New Bajaj Dominar 400 now gets a retuned liquid-cooled 373.33 DOHC engine which produces 40bhp with 35Nm of peak torque. The engine is more refined and has fewer vibrations.

It is mated to a 6-speed transmission and gets slipper clutch which prevents rear wheel lockup in case of engine seizure or failed transmission.

The modern cruiser gets Upside-Down forks which offers great handling experience. The telescopic suspension is retained at the rear. Furthermore, it gets a revised digital cluster and dual-barrel exhaust system.

Redesigned digital cluster shows gear position, trip information and time. It also gets bungee straps tucked under the seat and new rear view mirrors. It gets LED headlights, tail-tell lights and split seats with split grab rails. Dual channel ABS is standard.

Bajaj Dominar continues to offer style, comfort and the benefit of a modern cruiser – all in one. The bike competes with the likes of Royal Enfield 350, KTM Duke 250 and Jawa Motorcycles. In terms of engine capacity, it competes with BMW G 310 R and KTM Duke 390.
